Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026. These terms govern your use of the GiftPraise service. By creating or contributing to a GiftPraise, you agree to them.
1. The service
GiftPraise provides an online tool that lets an organiser create a single shareable link to collect messages, photos, voice notes, videos and optional money contributions or digital gift cards for a group gift. The completed GiftPraise is delivered electronically to the chosen recipient.
2. Organiser responsibilities
- You must be 18 or over to create a GiftPraise.
- You're responsible for the content you collect and share, and for ensuring contributors are happy for their messages to be included.
- You're responsible for delivering the GiftPraise link to the intended recipient.
3. Contributors and payments
Money contributions and digital gift card purchases are processed by our payment provider. By contributing, you authorise the payment shown at checkout, including any platform fee and processing fees.
4. Refunds
Our refund position is set out in full in our Refund Policy.
5. Prohibited use
You agree not to use GiftPraise to:
- upload unlawful, harassing, hateful or infringing content;
- collect money under false pretences;
- attempt to circumvent our fees or payment provider;
- send unsolicited marketing or spam.
6. Cancellations
Organisers can close a GiftPraise at any time before it's delivered to the recipient. Once delivered, the content cannot be unsent.
7. Drafts and storage
To keep storage costs sustainable each account is limited to one in-progress draft at a time (a draft is any GiftPraise you've started but not yet paid for). When you start a new GiftPraise, any existing draft - including any recording or media attached to it - is automatically and permanently deleted. GiftPraises you've already paid for are unaffected.
8. Liability
We provide the service "as is" and do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so under UK consumer law. To the fullest extent permitted, our liability is limited to the fees you've paid us in the previous twelve months.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll always show the date they were last changed at the top of this page.
